Our Mother - Grayson Perry

Today , at the suggestion of a friend, we reluctantly visited Grayson Perry's The most Popular Art Exhibition Ever! And it was. Every exhibit was really interesting and special.

They ranged through Ceramics, Sculpture, Tapestries, Every day objects, Films, Artist notebooks...We came for a few minutes and stayed several hours.

Our Mother, one of the Artists most popular works, depicts the Universal Pilgrim seeking meaning, She is the universal refugee. Her load is life, religion, culture,domestic and parental baggage.

My extras include a section of a topical pot and a tapestry of a society.

I should be ashamed. These exhibits deserve considered images not snaps.
