I got a text a little while later so I headed back to our pre-arranged meeting spot and an old friend was with him - someone I haven't seen in 10 years! A lovely surprise.

We had some time so we all went to SFMOMA to see the Walker Evans photography exhibit - it was extensive, much more than just the documentary photography from the Great Depression. Really too much to absorb and a second visit with more time is necessary.

A much needed distraction today. Good to be in a bustling city environment
