Red deer hind

This morning the birdwatching group went to Powys Castle. We saw a flock of redwings eating holly berries as well as more common birds. Usually there's a herd of red deer but we didn't see them. A man stopped his car and said that he'd visited every day for some time but hadn't seen any so we weren't hopeful. We then spotted a stag (too far away for a decent photo) then a lone female. As we walked up to the cafe this hind and a youngster came quite close so my blip was sorted.

The extra is of me in my personal hide.
