"Rush Hour"

Just before 5pm, after a long and productive afternoon's work in the Illawarra (south of Sydney) I took my camera for a walk at City Beach, Wollongong before driving home. The sea air worked its magic on me, as it always does, and I photographed the sea, cyclists, families, buildings, vegetation, swimmers, fishermen and boats. It was tough choosing the photo of the day, but I was struck by the relaxed end-of-dayness here, compared to the traffic congestion and noise at the same time of day in Sydney.

So this picture chose itself, really, and the cycleway sign says it all...
