A day trip to Perthshire

The day dawned beautifully, wall to wall sunshine.  And we were delighted as we had decided to travel up to Dunkeld and have a walk at the Hermitage.  We stopped at Birnham Arts Centre for a cuppa and then continued through Dunkeld.  We walked up to Ossian's Hall and Ossian's Cave, and continued up the river for a bit, eventually coming back down a forestry road and back to the car park.  Headed into Dunkeld for yet another cuppa at the Atholl Arms.

Helen was keen to go to Old Scone to see the churchyard where our great grandparents are buried, so we headed there and took some pictures.

My blip is a collage of the forest at the Hermitage, the River Tay, and the churchyard at Old Scone, a good record for me of a lovely day.
