A quick dip

I love the way teenagers can get a sudden desire in their heads. This was " it's hot, it's Spring, let's go for a swim in the river!"

So mum ( that's me), despite suffering from a decent bout of what might be flu, sat in the shade guarding the shoes, watching the dogs and laughing at the girls.

The dogs ran amok, as my voice was too croak and weak to call them back, until a passer by said she had seen tiger snakes in the area. So they were quickly back on leads.
