House in the water

Well, mes amis,I've had a pretty good day as Fridays go. An interesting afternoon drinking too much tea and writing a lengthy article on ultra-orthodox Judaism. I then walked home, as is my wont on Friday evenings (at least before the clocks go back). It's about a mile and a half back to my mud hut. About halfway across the Stray this rain pool edged out the previous front runner for today's blip (a weird cloud).
Do you think that if I'd gone splashing over there in the pool I might have fallen through into a watery, rainy parallel dimension? You know what? Maybe I did and you're all the denizens of a mysterious world in which it's always overcast and raining....oh no, wait....
