Mallards Gaggle Got Me

As  we put our little camper trailer away a group of Mallard ducks were busy nibbling away in a puddle.
I couldn't resist slowly approaching them to photograph them and what they were nibbling at.
I eased up to them fully expecting them to fly away with each slow step towards them.
Instead of flying they all stopped what they were doing and turned simultaneously to look at me... then as a group took several steps towards me.
Kathy and I figured out they were busy filling their crops with gravel and it's likely that someone has been feeding them so they thought I was a soft touch!
Whew, it freaked me out a bit... LOL!
