What I've Done

Balloon head

Following the flu jab on Tuesday, I now have a streaming nose and temperature - proper man-flu. So has Mike.

Had to do some architectural interior shots today for a client (hotel rooms) - some of which were big enough to squeeze lighting in cornera and alcoves, others had simply just enough space for tripod and camera, so we had a mix of daylight, tungsten, flash where possible and exposures either fused or tonemapped together. Joe came along and helped, and once we got back I set him to process the images. He did a great job, colours look natural, can see what's through the windows, and shadow detail in the rooms also excellent.

The hotel had commanding views over Keswick and the surrounding fells, and the view from their fire escape was amazing, which was going to be my blip.

Then Mike got home from school and decided to do some balloon sculpture (he got into making balloon animals after Florida) and suddenly appeared with this incredible Carmen Miranda type hat on. How he made it I have no idea, but I was seriously impressed and couldn't let it pass un-blipped (is that a new word?).

So here you have: Mike's hat!!!!
