Quilted Poppy (FF3)

Struggling to find the motivation today so a quick and simple blip of a machine quilted poppy Gill made and we have hanging in our dining room. 

She is rather good at these quilting based pictures and I ought to blip more of them.  They make relatively easy subjects as they are not usually behind glass

One flash, off camera via a shoot through umbrella,  although it probably needs two to get rid of the shadows on the LHS.

Thanks to everyone who commented on yesterday's still life I may well re shoot it with a better background cloth for my LRPS submission.

I have the joys of a 12 hour shift tomorrow, followed by a blipmeet at Compton Verney where the In-Light exhibition is running.  More info in the activities section,  if you are thinking of coming - best check they have tickets left as some of the days were near sell-outs.  Several of us  are going tomorrow evening,  Sunday might be easier for tickets if you are not going to a bonfire.
