At the scout hut: Invested......

'Invested' is the most used word in our house on a friday night. At this time of year, its about the who is and who isn't enrolled up or into some group of something or another. I think for children, its the mark of being someone or something. Like the pride of being employed into their first part time job.

For Sam, this has been a long awaited investment. He has been a Beaver for a while now. His sister, Ella has been in the cubs from the start, which has always marked the silent difference in age and also the inequality between them. Ella contentiously is a seconder in Sams sub group. This is means she if still ranking above him!

But for Sam, its the leaders he looks up to for inspiration. Investment is about proving himself to them, and not his bossy big sister! x
