Day trippers

Today we hired a car and J, bless her, was the driver. Our first port of call was Puerto del Rosario, the main city (town) of the island. Not realising it was a festival day so everything was closed but that didn’t stop us wandering around. Lots of sculptures and wall art dotted around. On our way, we travelled up the coast to Corralejo, renowned for its sand dunes. We parked up and had quite a walk over the dunes to reach the waters edge. As we were walking I looked over to S, who had raised his sunglasses.
‘Can you see what I can?’
‘Yep’ he replied.
‘Oh, there’s another one over there’.
‘I know’ he said.
We had stumbled across some people without clothes on ;-o we took some pics of the views.... sea views and moved on. We stopped in town for lunch before moving on. Next stop El Cotillo on the west side of the island. Quite windy on this side and lots of kite surfers on the beach. We stayed on the beach for a while and then headed back to the car and sat and waited for the sunset. Heading back to the hotel in the dark. J did very well driving us around.
