Through the Swiss National Park

Losing count, losing track.
M had to work this morning and was up early. Meanwhile I set off into the park alone and had the animals all to myself. I walked from the bridge at S-chanf, the next village, over the Fuorcla Trupchon to Livigno. There were so many chamois and ibex I couldn't count them. The route with scree, ice, snow and slippery slidey mud was challenging enough that I lost track of time. It was amazing to be so close to so many animals but the best moment was watching a group of about fifteen young ones, playing, fighting, chasing each other and just generally habing a wild time on the steep scree and snow slopes. Shopping and dinner with M in Livigno finished off a perfect day.
