Wanaka Lake Swimmers

About a dozen people in wetsuits (1 without), went for a swim in the lake this morning.  It was +9C in the fresh air, +11C in the water, so was very cold indeed.  The lady who swam in her togs came out freezing, and soon put on lots of warm clothes.  There is fresh snow on the mountains.

I went on to church, the hymn for today was 'The Lord's my Shepherd', and the church flowers are the extra.

Because I did no walking this morning, I headed out this afternoon in the drizzle.  Still have 1,000 steps to do, so will do that now before I settle in for the evening.  I have had the fire going all day.

Today is Guy Fawkes day, I don't know if there will be any fireworks seeing that it is raining.
