National Gallery of Ireland

Backblip


National Gallery of Ireland.  Spent a very full day in Dublin.  Took DART to Pearse Street station from Malahide, all very easy.  A very entertaining and fact filled guided tour of Trinity College given by one of the students.  The Long Room at the old library at the college was stunning.  I'm afraid I only took a cursory look at the Book of Kells exhibit; however, I did look at the lovely Harp of Brian Boru which no one else seemed much interested in.  Afternoon spent at the National Gallery of Ireland which was really excellent and in a beautiful space. Full of art students which was lovely to see too.
