Anthurium

Some while ago my husband decided we ought to have a 'statement' plant in the conservatory. So, yesterday we went out to buy one. I thought he wanted something like a cheese plant or a yucca, a so-called architectural plant but no, he meant a large flowering plant. He decided on this Anthurium. I suppose I quite like it but I have to confess I have my doubts about how long I'll be able to keep it alive.
