I Spy

There was quite a high tide forecast today so after ringing this morning we headed off to Parkgate on the banks of the Dee. There are salt marshes at Parkgate and at high tide there is usually a lot of activity.

We saw a number of hen harriers and a few kestrals putting on a bit of a show.

This lot were at the Old Baths car park. I hate to think how much all their kit cost. However despite all their equipment I don't think that any of them spotted me taking this candid shot.
