Happy Sparkler Day to you all!!

A morning in the garden, raking up mountains of leaves, tidying and planting up Winter pots and troughs.

An afternoon baking Parkin, the sticky gingerbread traditionally eaten on 5th November, and watching Christmas films (two yesterday, two today!).

An evening back in the garden, sparkling away in the darkness and enjoying all the neighbour's fireworks. Then back inside for a big slice of Parkin!
