Leire Jubilee Nature Reserve

Glad to escape the city for the afternoon..
Thankfully the County, while it at first might appear a little featureless, is actually a patchwork of hidden gems.. From industrial heritage, canals, windmills, lakes, woodlands and here a disused railway line now fulfilling the role of nature reserve. One good thing to say about Leicester though, from the fields above this cutting the university towers and city centre concrete office building present a delightful prospect.
