Getting in a Bit of a Puddle

Photographics differs fundamentally from traditional photography. A photograph conveys to the viewer events and views from our environment. Photographics and the derived works are posited as objects of art in their own right, and their value is not based on the narrative content of the image,  but on how the subject’s aesthetic has been achieved.
Aimo Vuokola, exhibition text, 1970
