G.D. Disco Band

Another fantastic night at Optimo. The G.D. Disco band did a live set surrounded by the usual excellent music and atmosphere for the rest of the night. They even ran on a wee bit later than planned, I'd assume possibly because at the last one two months ago proceedings were cut short by a fire alarm.

By the time we got out and said our goodbyes it was half past three that we were on the road home. That meant getting in at about half past four and bed by five. As a result, although possibly the rum and cokes played their part, I failed to make it up for eight to head back through to Glasgow for the EIS rally against cuts to FE which I feel guilty about but I've seen the photos and it looked to be a decent scale and Edinburgh College appeared to be well represented.

A lazy day of lounging on the couch listening to the football and nursing a hangover it is then.
