WW2 - Secret War

A walk in the grounds of Trent Park ( see extra )  . It has been many things over the years and I remember the trip ( a challenging bike ride  phew )  to meet lecturers and discuss students on teaching practice when it was a College  of Education .
In WW2 it was a  prison for high ranking German officer  POWs - who enjoyed the surrounding  .........and didn't know that their conversations were being recorded ( often by German Jewish émigrés)  - giving the allies vital intelligence information ! Do look at link :-)
It looks as though there will be a museum about it in the future - should be a good Tues visit ;-)
