T is for Therapy (of the Art nature!)

Royal United Hospital, Bath

These tiny little figures are part of a sculpture created by children in the RUH's Children Ward, as part of the hospital's art therapy programme.

At the RUH this afternoon to visit my Dad who had a knee replacement operation yesterday, exactly one year since the hospital cancelled his op last November! I wasn't able to visit him yesterday as, due to a new computer system (?!!), he didn't return from the recovery room until late in the evening. Whilst visiting Dad today, I had to go and buy him some tissues as the ward had run out! A new computer system but no tissues!! Having said that, he was being very well cared for. The nurses were lovely and there were so many of them.

Back home on a cold and very wet day, it was time to cosy up with another Christmas film, and another slice of that Parkin!
