Portrait Tuesday

a very quick drawing of this young man.  He was a great model having never done it before.  We were meant to be doing a portrait with collage but l didn't get on with it so resorted to my comfort zone of drawing with charcoal and had a much happier session!!

Wet Tuesday and the foodbank was busy again.. this time the story that tugged at my heart was of a young girl with a two children who had a car accident 9 years ago caused by a drunk driver.  Her neck was fractured... lucky not to be killed or put in a wheelchair.. dependent on drugs to control pain still and that has limited her ability to work.. she has just lost her job as a carer but realises she is not able to do the long shift work that is required and is having to adjust her life. The foodbank stepping in while she hunts for a job she can manage that might be more flexible for her disability. (her father was killed by another drunk driver while on his motorbike two years ago)
