Tagum Agricultural Development Corporation. We visited the largest cavendish banana producer in the Philippines today for an initial site visit. I am involved in a project funded by the Commission on Higher Education that would analyze the chain of cavendish banana from growing to buyers with focus on how profit is gained at every level. It was a quick visit but it was interesting to see the packing plant and to see how workers actually take the bananas from the tree to the plant.
