Big Dog, Little Dog

Things are much better than yesterday. We've had a great day so far. This mural is in the Rockaways near where Helen's daughter lives. A good night's sleep, lots of yummy goodies for breakfast, a friendly visit with a friend of Helen's daughter and a walk on the beach filled the morning.

Today is Election Day so we all drove into town so Elisa could vote. Then we went to my son Jason's new digs. Elke was there so I got to meet her too. She is lovely and their place is delightful. We all got the grand tour of the house and then sat and talked and drank tea and ate goodies. Then we headed home so Riitta could get ready for her flight to Paris tonight. The rest of us fly out tomorrow.

When we got home H, E and I went out for dinner at an Uzbekenistani restaurant. The food was fabulous. Now I am sitting enjoying a quiet moment while H and E take R to the airport. It has been a wonderful day.
