Won a Cold and Frosty Morning
This is Quartermile seen from the south side of the Meadows on a cold and frosty morning just before sunrise.
Yes the sun did rise this morning and with it the ground mist rose to hover over the grass. I had the world almost all to myself save for a man and his dog and the few other early risers.
With His Lordship clambering over hills again today, I am left to ponder the meaning of life as I place my order for a Christmas turkey and survey the possibilities for festive gift over- spending. It’s all too much, I’m getting too old for this malarkey: the whole thing has got out of hand and my once a year headache is about to descend.
