Flowering Cactus With Ant Overlord

This is a nice view of the inner part of my flowering cactus with this ant that stayed in that position long enough for me to get the shot.

The ants are in there now tending to all the flowers and supping all the nectar as they do. They also have some little aphid looking creatures that they seem to be looking after as well at the back of the flowers, quite the specialist farmers these ants.

In the extra's are a couple of shots of the clouds tonight at sunset after a hot and stormy afternoon. I don't think I've ever seen one cloud cast a shadow onto another this way. Quite unusual angles, thick clouds and crepuscular ray's involved!
