Queen's View towards Drymen

Busy busy today, so no time to do more than post my blip for the day and hope to catch up on comments tomorrow.

Most of the day was taken up with anniversary celebrations of the school at which I was a teacher in the 70s, involving a tour of the junior and senior school buildings and a buffet lunch for former staff and pupils. It was very interesting.

I took this blip this morning just in case the day deteriorated (it didn't!) - it's the magnificent view you get as you come round the corner on the A809 from Glasgow heading towards Drymen. You used to be able to see Loch Lomond on a clear day like today, but unfortunately that little fringe of trees in the middle of the picture now obliterates the loch. Ben Lomond is the highest mountain on the right.

My friend Gill has now arrived to stay the night. Tomorrow we are going to a Girls' Lunch at our friend Fiona's in Stirling.
