Ullswater

We decided to take the boat to Howtown, and walk back to Patterdale along the east shore of Ullswater. The blip is taken from one of the high points and is of the head of the loch. There was a woman on the boat that we thought we knew, but it look most of the walk to get our brains to click that is was the wife of a guy I went to school with, and I had been their best man. We sat and waited for them and accused them (successfully thankfully) of being our friends we hadn’t seen for more than 30 years. We then had a sociable end of walk and a blether over tea in the hut. It’s a small world.
