Autumn......!

In an increasingly bleak looking garden....my Acer looks stunningly colourful in beautiful sunshine this morning...
I think there is a shrub called the Burning Bush? ...but I'm thinking that's exactly what my Acer looks like today...

Typing fast now...as I have a large pot of Gooseberry jam on boiling rapidly...hopefully to a quick set!!
Smells like Summer again in my kitchen just now...
This is in a bid to clear my freezer before I start Christmas baking and won't have room to freeze and store things...!!
