Purple Haze

After a morning in town including a dentist visit, home this avo to mow lawns before the predicted rain arrives. Found these flowers growing by the roadside at the neighbours.

And an update on the lad....3 weeks after surgery and he has made great progress, pain almost zilch, walking and even had a drive yesterday. Well on the road to recovery although have to make sure he doesn't overdo it until everything is well healed.
