18th Century Glamour

At tonight's Jacobite themed museum lates event at the National Museum I met these two very glamorous folk both dressed in 18th Century costume.
Coincidentally, I have discovered that the word glamour originates in Scotland around 1720, so the Jacobites would have been very familiar with the word and it's original meaning, magic or to cast a spell. Thanks to NannaK for inspiring me to find out more about its meaning.
