.....Lem's Cameo with her delicate shades, delightful red throat and frilled petals, she's a stunner but only just holding on as winds roll on through with no rain to speak off, she's one of the last rhodos in my garden to flower.
I tackled the 'Bee and Butterfly' garden today and what a job! While we were away the violets took over, yes they're beautiful with tiny delicate creamy flowers which I adored when we arrived home but they had certainly roamed. Anyway I dealt with them, did some light pruning and more deheading of rhodo's, looking much better but there's still more work to be done.
While working in my garden two spitfires flew over for Armistice Day, I took some time to reflect, we will remember.
