Here Comes the Bride..

The big day. And fine and sunny, thank the Lord, indeed. Our taxi sat under the Castle Rock as the minutes ticked down and it was safe to arrive, walking across Parliament Square, with the piper blowing up. Och, it was all good, and the daughter looked quite wonderful. The grand entrance!
Then onward, piper at the head as we made our way down Victoria Street in the sunshine, and up into Greyfriars. A tourist spectacle. So, a period of milling about, then speechifying: myself, Sean and Euan, and the meal, and then the evening guests, and the wild rumpus began. A fine time! And at the end, a huge circle was formed and my wee daughter and my new son-in-law (never had one of those before) danced together to our cheers and best wishes before we all spilled out into the cold night. Well done that girl!
