Moorland Burn Off

Another visit to Saltburn today as in the early hours of the morning I got this idea for a possible new print (maybe Lino or woodcut).  Another stunning day on the beach and not as cold as the previous day as the wind had dropped.  Still plenty of white rollers crashing onto the beach though.  Having actually tried out the image I had in mind on site I'm not sure it will work - but maybe it will.  I need to try some sketches.  We also managed a visit to the supermarket before coming home, something we chose not to do yesterday, so were all stocked up again.  They'd lit these fires in the morning, but it was the late afternoon light that rendered them so dramatic.
