Orchid's Grand Opening

In its third season, my orchid was on the verge of opening its first bud when I went to bed last night. This morning, as soon as the sun rose, so its petals opened. I'm so pleased! As the whole process of first forming flower buds to all of them opening is such a lovely, slow process, it means we have weeks to enjoy these exotic blooms.
