A Cacophony of Bird Flight & Order Restored

Yesterday I was photographing on the rocky beach to the west of Dunbar Harbour and looking at a large flock of pigeons on the dominating central rock. I managed to capture them as they became disturbed and flew off and followed their progress as the returned to their roost. Their initial reaction on being disturbed was obviously one of flight but it was totally chaotic. However as they organised themselves and were returning to the roost they synchronised their flight and order was restored.
