View through the stacks

I was out with the walking group on a different kind of walk.  We were part of the Otterton Annual Parish Boundary Walk.  Apparently it is a tradition since 2000, when new parish boundary stones were put in place, to walk the entire route of the boundary, a total of 11 miles.  So on this not so promising weather day, we set off in light rain.  It was a pattern of rain, a few moments of sun and cloud throughout the day. Some people left us as we followed the Southwest Coast path towards Ladram Bay and then after climbing High Peak we gained a few more.

This shot shows the view from the footpath looking through the stacks towards Sidmouth.  The extra shows a view looking back towards Ladram Bay and the extent of recent cliff erosion.
