Before the beards

After a nice hour away from the kids (the boy coped alone) at the hairdressers we ventured into Birmingham to meet Claire and Stu at a Beard Convention to raise money for bowel cancer. Iris slept through the whole thing while Esther sat there looking very wary of all the hairy men. She was happy to see Stu with his camera but not so impressed that it wasn't always pointing in her direction. We tried to give her a chocolate icing beard but it was a little disappointing.

After deciding that dinner out in the city centre with a six week old was irresponsible we came home ordered a curry and gave Esther her first authentic taste of Indian, she was delighted.
