De-Cluttering (SL2)

We took a painting Gill's dad did and a patchwork quilt Gill's mum made to hang on the wall in her room at the care home - just to make it look a little less austere and more like her home for a while. I was looking through the garage for some picture pins, a hammer and a level and came across these things on one of the shelves.  At some point we will have to clear the garage, but at the moment that would be too much for Gill's mum to contemplate so I have just borrowed these two items as a sort of recent history still life - so I'll tag them for Nikkimags' still life challenge.

The valve core tin does still contain three of them,  thankfully the codeine bottle has been reused for what might be picture backing clips

Gill's dad was a very good woodworker and there are a number of old hand-tools in the garage which will be difficult to sort out and most likely appear as blips over the coming months.

I'll have a look through your journals and catch up on comments tomorrow ....
