It's raining leaves !

We've had one of those days where the weather changes continually, with some sun, some rain, some light and many gusts of wind. The photograph was taken at mid morning, had I taken one mid afternoon it would have been clear that half of the leaves  still on the tree in the morning were now on the ground. By the end of the week I reckon they're all off the tree !

I was amazed at 90 entries for Abstract Thursday , thank you so much for all your creative images ! Makes choosing so very difficult, but I've managed to pick another 5 ! This coming Thursday it will be a year since I took over from Robert , it's been a real joy to see so many Blippers take on the Abstract challenge ! My choice for an optional theme this coming Thursday is 'filter(s)', take that as literally or figuratively as you want, but if you like it's really fun to experiment with home-made filters, nets, transparent stuff held before the lens, anything that will distort your camera's view :-) See for example my extra today,  a close-up of the branches with autumn leaves taken with the plastic round spheric lid of one of those containers of vegetables or salads  they have in the supermarket held in front of my lens, who needs a lensbaby when you can use something like this ;-) ! The tag will be AT125.
