Christmas preparations -2

It has been a particularly busy autumn work and family wise.

Normally I have the Christmas cake baked by the midddle of September (the Edinburgh holiday is a good time) but this year time just evaporated.

So I was glad to find space this weekend, in between the garden, shopping, hospital and nursing home visits and church this morning to get the baking done.

The cling film icicle effect caught my eye.
