refurbished floating dock

Today I am sharing a photo of Steven's! I am so proud of how he recently refurbished our old floating dock that he made a few years ago. He created it out of plywood, fiberglass cloth and epoxy. It still floats well, but needed a ramp so we could use it for our boat Chelsea

Steve stripped the foam covering off the old floating dock and painted it (and the new ramp he built) with non-skid paint. New handles/ cleats and the bars to attach to the seawall and the floating dock. It has to be able to move with the tides we have here.

Chelsea has been out of the water for some time (since June). We needed to make room for our 175 Sportfish Scout on the lift. But we miss Chelsea! Such a fun boat, with a riding lawn mower engine! Since it has been sitting around on land and not being used, there is a bit a work ahead for Steve to get her running again . . .  but then we will launch her, drive her down the river (street) and park her in front of our house on the newly refurbished floating dock! It will be great fun to hop in for a little old timey cocktail cruise, up river at a slow pace. Thank you, Steven!
