Hotel sends a tiny minibus to pick you up from the airport. Was Kathmandu rush hour, although I think might be like that all the time. Traffic and driving was completely mental! No traffic lights, just don't stop or give way or you're done for. A few polis around blowing whistles and waving their arms around just seemed to add to the chaos.Took a terrible blurry pic from the car window but better ooprtunity tomorrow. Back to the airport to meet daughter flying in via China no less. At least we'll have a local with us as a tour guide as Pembe, the youngest son of the family the charity has been helping, is coming to meet us with his wife Suzi. Very excited about seeing "sister Mairi" again, not sure what they'll make of me!

Long trip. Emirates brilliant, Fly Dubai not quite so. Got the row to ourselves both times which was a result.
