A Close-Knit Couple

Mute swans are definitely not mute.  The cob had quite a lot to say for himself.  But, unlike many humans, they only speak when they have something to say.

My book is turning into a teenage fantasy novel: think J K Rowling but without the millionaire status!  That won't need 50,000 words, which is just as well as I'm falling behind.  I can understand why writers retreat to lonely cottages with no internet connection and no need to earn their daily crust.  Never mind, I've written more than I ever have done before and I'll keep going till I finish.
