Princes Street Autumn

Into town today on a mission to chose new spec frames for TM. After trying on many styles and colours, and getting advice from the optician, he eventually chose a pair not that different from the style he is wearing at the moment. But he's happy with them, so that is mission accomplished. 

My reward was an hour on my own to browse while he went to retrieve the car. I walked along Princes Street Gardens, swarming with workmen putting up the booths for the Christmas market. I preferred the view looking the other way, towards the Castle. There are still plenty of leaves on the trees, in spite of the frosts and the breezes.
