Berwick-upon-Tweed

It was funny to go back to Berwick, which used to be our main town.

Also:  only my third ever 'foreign' trip for work, but not really that foreign, given it has been Scottish 14 times.

The bridges were looking magnificent, and the other favourite was the top floor of the town hall (the extra), which was a jail.  We merrily 'branded' ourselves with the branding iron and ink without really thinking about the fact that it had been used on hundreds of poor folks before they were sent off to Australia.
