....is for roses, pretty as they bask in sunlight.

It was a bit breezy today but still a very comfortable 17C. Enjoyed a quick stop at the Kaiapoi rose gardens for Wide Angle Wednesday. Thanks to BobsBlips for hosting :)

It's not often I try a shot for wide angle Wednesday with the background out of focus but quite like this as it shows the entrance to the park with the rose and buds still the main focus.

Wednesday......lovely to visit R, who was very quiet today. Told us 'mum and I always come together', the lilies mum took him from her garden, 'were beautiful' and that he loved us, the rest of the time he slept peacefully......we were very touched.
