Wast Water

Got up early and wandered down to the lake at Grasmere for a sunrise image.   The sky lit up a vibrant red and I have added my efforts as an extra.

After breakfast at Nichol End Marine, HereWeGoAgain went out in K2 (his kayak) on Derwentwater and I wandered around the shore looking for extra photo.  Unfortunately the light was not great so no photo, but a lovely walk.

After this we decided to head over to Wastwater for a sunset, based on the weather forecast (not accurate as usual) but the cloud was amazing and I did take the this image which I felt looked better in mono.

Now in Dog and Gun in Keswick having Goulash for supper.
